It wasn't all in one step.

What did I see that people missed?

I don't know that anybody misses it.

I think everybody realizes that this stuff is hard, that speaking in public is not easy and it doesn't come naturally to people at all.

Those of us that maybe have been leading seminars, training events, whatever, and we've been in front of audiences a lot,

Maybe we see it more than others, but I don't know if there's anybody for whom this comes naturally, especially now with the move to virtual.

So people don't take storytelling classes in school.

Very few of us have backgrounds in graphic design.

We all suck at PowerPoint.

And we're scared to death to speak in public.

In fact, if you look at the latest survey, we are scared beyond death.

Public speaking ranks as the number one fear, according to the book of lists.

Death is number five.

Yeah.

I am old enough to remember all of those things, Tim.

I am old enough to remember slide software that predated PowerPoint.

My first few digital presentations, I used Harvard graphics.

Yeah, I mean, these are the good old days or the bad old days, depending upon your point of view.
