Just about every industry has had revolutions like that.

I mean, I came, as you noted, from sports, from sports journalism, where we watched, I mean, actually we participated in the advent of desktop publishing.

And the miracle of not having to send a manuscript to the typesetter so they retype all of it.

And then to seeing software do all this.

And what we've seen with each one of these revolutions is that when the tools become easy,

It's easier to create really bad content.

Right.

I remember the rounded rectangles and the bad shaded boxes that we all wanted to put copy into just because we could.

We've seen the bad animations in PowerPoint used just because somebody could.

We're going to see it all over again with AI also.

So I want to give the benefit of the doubt here.

I'm not willing to chalk it up just to laziness.

There certainly is that component.

And when people phone in anything, they're not long for that profession.

I see people with really good intentions –

that are given this incredibly powerful tool, and intoxication is one of the inevitable results of that.

Oh my goodness, I can do this now?

And they may spend hours upon hours.
