And management had to step in again and, you know, made the move to get rid of Eric Raymond.

And this isn't a couple of bad starts.

This isn't a streak of any kind.

Montembeau is having a bad season, and he's having a historically bad season.

We talked about it last week, and it started right from training camp where he came in and did not look prepared at all.

They were joined at the hip.

They were best friends.

Raymond was maybe Montembeau's second biggest advocate.

But it was Marty St.

Louis who was the biggest advocate for Montembeau.

And...

Marty St.

Louis bent all the norms, bent over backwards for Montembeau, not only giving him starts, but giving him preferential treatment.

And the funny part was that Marty never failed to tell us how little he knows about the goaltending position.

So Marty wasn't making logical decisions.

He was not making hockey decisions.

He wasn't making proper coaching decisions.
