Unless you have millions, there's always going to be some vulnerability.

But I think Joe is basically saying money isn't the only thing that buffers those risks.

Another form of wealth is community, which is something we do have more control over.

That anxiety we feel chasing the next raise is real.

But maybe it is just as important that we get to know our neighbors and build relationships and to invest in the kinds of connections that can hold us when money can't.
