Like can you just unpack that a little bit and what that impact has on the community?
Yep.
I'll circle back to the food one 'cause it's clearly a passion project of mine more than anything else.
But it is amazing
You speak about making sure that everyone has something they can eat.
that makes people stick around.
Like if that's after a training session for an example, um you all walk out, you survey the food and it's like, Hey, I'm not able actually able to eat any of this.
Instead of sticking around, they're more likely to leave.
Whereas if it is something they can eat, they will stay and all of a sudden they don't have much of a choice but to talk to other people and learn about it.
Other people ask questions, why do you eat that?
What does this look like?
And all of a sudden that breaks down a lot of barriers for people.
And it's it's one of the things that I recommend coaches do really early on.
in their season actually is just a little whether it be a barbecue, whether it be uh at a restaurant, whether it be everyone brings a plate off something, whatever it might look like, obviously check for everyone's uh preferences and potential allergies and all those sorts of things.
But it just makes such a big difference, I think, to culture uh from the team.
Like it's just people f forget that they're all basketball players and they just revert back to being people.
Yep.
And I think it's it's a case of not
Nobody's really looking for a leg up out of any of this.
