It's it is one of those things and you you're absolutely right, because a lot of people probably don't consider that like the the work that goes on behind the state.
I mean, we're only what, maybe a few weeks removed from like National Volunteer Week.
But without volunteers, our sport literally does come to a screeching halt.

And
W as with most things volunteering, a lot falls on a few.
But we need to try and diversify that out a little bit more.
And it's like, well, can we just give more people just a little bit?
Yeah.
And that will keep them around it a little bit longer.
And it's it happens so often that, you know, you might have someone from one background or community that comes in, but all of a sudden you get one and you've got four.
And amazing how that just spreads out over the course and and trying to engage them uh is so complicated.
Like it's but it's also not at the same like there's almost this fear of I don't want to engage in case I say the wrong thing, I do the wrong thing, or I push people further away from me.
But that's probably not the case in most situations.
Yeah, I I couldn't agree with you more in that space.
And I mean Sharon Milner does a a phenomenal job in general.
Like it's and has been a longstanding whether you call them Broadmeadows or Hume City, like it's you know, everyone you sort of talk to says something a bit different.
But she's done a brilliant job out there uh over a number of years and obviously um you know ex Opal uh comes with a fairly
good basketball background, it'd be fair to say too.
