Now, I qualified as a lawyer, but I've always had this thing in the back of my mind that I'm actually not an academic at all, and I don't think I am particularly.

And I thought, well, I wonder if I could push it a bit.

So I did a master's degree.

And then I, just about three or four years ago, I did a PhD.

And so I got that.

And I remember looking at the offer letter from the university, from my master's, and I kind of touched it and thought, these people want me.

And then when the PhD came through, I could hardly, I was pinching myself.

So you have to keep trying.

And it wasn't even succeeding at it, but

Yeah.

Well, we can all do something.

There's somebody in our lives, perhaps a family member at Christmas we've fallen out with.

We've not spoken to them for a few years.

We can make a phone call and try.

There's a lonely person just down the road from us.

We can knock a door and say, can I take your bins out like Ronnie did?

There's some young person who feels rubbish that we can get alongside and encourage and bring up.

We can all do something.

As I said, I don't recommend doing what we did, but we can all do something.

And the incredible thing is the tiniest thing, the tiniest thing can sometimes change our lives forever.
