I've seen your evolution.

Why don't you just come out and say that you're a full-on Republican now and register as a Republican in Florida?

I go, I've always been an independent, and I just thought like a Democrat.

I know it's always very comfortable to... It radicalized people, and it set up the situation for Khomeini.

Now I think like a Republican.

And the reason that I want to stay an independent is because I want to be able to be fair and balanced and unbiased.

So I'm saying let's not do a repeat of that.

Now, respectfully, I think the 26 years of really not allowing any political opposition to his reign created that kind of tension and that kind of fear.

And I think at the end of the day, I mean, you're a rational person who wants what's best for the Iranian people.

And that is to your credit.

Well, I mean, if we just look at the interventionist policies of the United States, one of the consistent things that happens, PBD, is that we seem to replace secular leaders and they get replaced with this Muslim extremists.
