And that's the way we go to market with mycorrhizal because beta blockers are inexpensive and have been used for many, many years and are familiar to cardiologists.

And the guidelines call for their use as first-line therapy.

The trial you referenced, MAPLE, which was presented and published in 2025,

prompts a reassessment of therapy.

And as the cardiology community is in the midst of understanding Maple and its implications for guidelines, we anticipate that mycorrhizal and cardiac myosin inhibition

may be moving upstream in guidelines over time because Maple demonstrated head to head mycorrhizal versus beta blockade was superior.

And in fact, in that trial,

beta blockade caused some harm that I think is raising eyebrows.

These kinds of things don't happen overnight, changing practice patterns, but it is noteworthy that this was really the first placebo-controlled study of beta blockers in this disease.

It was long overdue.

And what we understand is that beta blockers became a standard of care absent ample clinical evidence.

Now we have had data

and it's prompting lots of questions.

And I do think that the Maple data will turn heads and ultimately drive more adoption of cardiac myosin inhibition earlier in the treatment of these patients.

Will it displace beta blockers?

Maybe in some practices, yes.

In others, it might prompt them to move more swiftly through beta blockade to a cardiac myosin inhibitor once the guidelines are updated.

And I can't foresee exactly how quickly that might happen because payers may still favor beta blockers because they are inexpensive.

But I do know the cardiology community

is already talking about what these data may mean for changing guidelines.
