uh indicators almost without exception or let up in the different business sectors in which franchising is active and it just proves and proves again uh the value uh and the place of this business model in all of those industries.

Well, Seattle is an interesting uh is an in interesting process and I and I think you uh you may not be giving um

the uh

um city leadership in Seattle uh enough uh credit or the cr or the cr uh uh or underestimating them in some form or fashion because uh

You know, uh I think we very clearly found that in the majority of cases of the people sitting on that city council, they fully comprehended

after being

uh spoken to by local franchise business owners and the IFA uh on a number of occasions, they fully understood

What

uh what franchising is.

And

uh what uh uh what it's about.

There were several who

didn't understand, but they were smaller in number, the majority understood very well.

Um but this is a case that repeatedly happens in policy uh that we see uh echoed all throughout the United States and even in Washington D C.

uh where politics tr triumphs over policy.

And uh in Seattle it would be uh giving them a pass to say that they didn't understand.
