it is a very busy and active um
uh play for us.
And we have uh you know, five people in our federal and state
uh government affairs uh uh uh uh practice here and uh so uh knowing that the uh you know that we can't be all places at once
Um we have been partnering with allied associations like uh the National Restaurant Association, which has nearly fifty um uh professionals uh doing uh that kind of work.
And so uh the National Retail Federation, uh and and others.
And so uh hotel and lodging.
Uh so those are those are folks that uh that we've engaged with and we're trying to unite and form more voices
to make sure that those public policy uh uh makers know about our perspective and also uh can digest it on lots and lots of different forms of media.
Uh everything from paper letters that have uh f hit their office to uh
The telephone calls from uh angry constituents.
and uh uh tweets and uh and uh Facebook posts and we we try to leave no stone unturned.

I pr I appreciate it.
I think I've touched on a lot of them, but one that I think stands out in my mind as as a a a a challenge uh for us to to solve
is that at the moment uh we at this very moment and and for the last little while we find ourselves at loggerheads
uh between some uh franchisee uh association uh uh uh folks and franchisors.
And I think that uh the fact that we have an incoming chairman at IFA that is one of the s sort of more well known uh franchisees uh in the United States and one of the certainly one of the most successful ones
That we have
very uh an increasing number of uh uh very uh sophisticated and hardworking franchisees that are on IFA's board.
