We don't try and sell into this market from the U.S.,
but increasingly what we see is a lot of international brands interested in coming into the United States that like to work with us, largely because it mitigates for them a lot of the upfront investment that they would have to typically make.
In other words, they have the ability to transfer if it's a fairly sophisticated system and appropriate for the U.S., and not everything is, just as everything in America
not appropriate for outside of the U.S.,
we have the ability to assist them in coming in where they're not going to have to put in place a physical facility.
We are familiar with the regulatory market, so we can help their U.S.
counsel and them understand their commitments and obligations.
We can refer them to consulting firms that can help them with everything from strategic planning to Americanizing their manuals and materials, because, of course, we don't do that.
But we have the ability to help them sell and bring their initial franchisees
into their business so what they're able to do is lower their front-end costs but everything they do to support those folks is cost justified because they have traction and frankly we've had some very nice success in doing that and and interestingly enough and i think it speaks to the relative economies i can tell you europe is very tough i've been
Here several times this year, you know, Spain with 25% unemployment or UK with 14% unemployment in environments where the regulatory environment, the laws, the banking environment is not conducive to individual unit franchising.
Those folks very interested in coming into, of course, the world's biggest and most expensive and most regulated franchise market coming to the U.S.
We see much more of that in our business.
than we see, obviously, U.S.
brands trying to necessarily go abroad.
Of course, there is certainly plenty of that going on, but our demand seems to be more from international brands that want to come in than –
U.S.
brands will want to go out because those U.S.
brands look at the investments that they make to go abroad and the return on that investment.
Many cases when we talk to CEOs and say, you know, given an improving environment, we'd much rather take whatever our resources are to grow and grow those domestically because our margins are better.
