Mm.
So from a from the Fed perspective you go, well um which it has been the case in in recent months that the main concern for the Fed
It is is inflation.
Uh but um you know if we go back to last year the the labour market was a concern in terms of signs of weakness.
Uh and for now, you know, the labour market is not a problem and uh it provides time for the Fed to to see how the inflation story evolves.
So nothing from the
what
basically what that's saying then, isn't it?
Well the Fed meets in September, so we got another two CPI prints, uh one this week, which will be important.
Uh and expectations actually for for that print is pretty low, at point two on the month, month on month.
Um so again it's it's going to actually favor the view, which is uh the nav view as well, that although there's a lot of sort of inflation dynamics, um that the Fed will for now stay on the sidelines uh and wait to see how
things play out and of course the Iran story is is super important in terms of implications for inflation over the next six months.
But for now in terms of how we're reading things, the CPI this week is unlikely to to provide a a trigger for the Fed to start thinking about hacks as soon as September.
And similarly um you know we we still got one more CPI before they meet again.
So that's the one uh so it's two
Yeah.
two important print numbers before we get there.
Yeah, uh it's it was interesting, it was very solid.
Um now uh in a in a way it it's it's the same kind of sort of rationale.
It's like okay, well you you got a healthier labor market, but is it at a level that is going to start generating inflation?
