And every protein is immersed in water in the cells.

And to give you an idea, it would be pretty common for a cell to have five or ten thousand proteins in it.

So these are really small and they're all over the place and they're in all your cells everywhere.

So they're kind of ubiquitous and very small.

And

All of them are immersed in water.

In cell biology they understood that the proteins in order to fold

had to be getting their energy from the water.

And the water supports the protein folding and at the beginning I mentioned the environment in the cell.

And that's the water.

And it has to be in a certain energetic state to support the protein folding process.
