Well, I have to say that all my friends were saying that, more or less.
Well, yes, but I had a very old-fashioned traditional English education, so...
Oh, oh, I see.
It's like I remember as a very young child reading the stories from Greek mythology and loving.
I mean, I love the all the myths for all the cultures.
But as you know, classics, classical myth, Greek myth is the one that gets privileged in traditional educational contexts.
That's true.
Yeah.
And then I was introduced to the languages and I turned out to, you know, be good at the languages.
And I don't know, things have changed probably in Britain since my day.
But back then you had to pretty much make your choice when you were 16, whether you wanted to, you know, do sciences or whatever you want to do.
And so I started really young doing Greek and Latin.
Some of them used to in those days.
My best friend in college went to a grammar school.
But I went to private schools and, you know, I was pretty much on the traditional track that way.
But then after I graduated, I didn't know what I wanted to do, really.
But I knew I wanted to do something that would be fun.
And I knew I was good at going to school.
Well, fun was going to California.
Of course it was.
