We are capable of choosing catastrophe simply because we know how to survive it versus choosing success because we just don't know how to survive it because we've never experienced it.

So I don't normally start my show with someone's, like, origin story.

But I think you have such a unique and dynamic origin story that I want the audience to understand kind of who you are, where you've come from before we start to really get into stuff.

Because...

You know, we've had, this is probably our third or fourth time we've chatted, and every time we talk, I feel like I learned something new and dynamic and that has incredible depth, and I just want a level set for the audience so they know before we get into everything.

When did you become aware of the internal commentary that you're able to give us today, right, as you're telling that story?

When did you become aware, self-aware enough and grounded enough to be able to give the rational commentary around these moments that were most likely not rational in any regard while you were going through them?

everything.

It's scary.

And, and I would say that pound for pound, I have not dealt with as much trauma as you have, but I, there are pieces of my story, which I see in yours, uh, certainly aggressive male abuse, stuff like that.
