This is a map-based app.
For finding and checking the real-time availability of reservable overnight wilderness permits across U.S.
national parks and wilderness areas and other uh permit-controlled backcountry camping zones.
Like trips, the backcountry permit explorer will be included with unlimited membership at no additional cost.
So stay tuned.
We'll be launching the beta version of this app before the end of this month.

My home hiking area is the Rocky Mountains, and here in Colorado we have a whole bunch of wildfire burn areas and quite a bit of beetle killed pine.
