All of them are essentially saying that.

How do you respond to this idea that conservatives are not cut out to be therapists?

That's such a fantastic point, Pamela, because I think if you come from a traditionally humanistic approach, you're supposed to keep this open-minded curiosity about who the client is.

And so often progressives, no matter what your identity is, they've already put you into a box as soon as you walk in the door.

I think what's even more bizarre is this lack of humanity is coming from the people who are shouting empathy every five seconds.

So I want to build off of something Mickey was saying, you know, your your child looks at you and says, like, how could I have a relationship with you if you voted for somebody who wants me dead?

And, you know, as as therapists, I think a lot of us have gotten that.

Like if you voted for Trump, like, well, how could you work with a marginalized client if you vote for somebody who doesn't respect their human rights?

And that kind of goes in the face of the fact that millions of Black and Hispanic people have moved from voting Democrat to voting Republican.

I've met so many gay and lesbian people who now vote Republican because of Trump.

We've met a number of detransitioners.

A lot of women, I think a majority of women, I believe, voted for Trump or close to it.

So there's this...

It was definitely more this time than it was before.

If you don't vote like I do, you must not respect all these populations.

But it feels like they're the ones who are not respecting the autonomy of these populations to choose politically what they want.

So I want to dig into the politicization of therapy from the perspective of clients you see.

So I've talked to a number of therapists who say politics are much more on the mind of their clients than they used to be.

And you're having to unpack a lot of political stress.

So what have you seen in that regard?
