So I think kind of touching on the perspective that as a progressive, they have something to offer clients that you don't.
I'm wondering, is there something, some either perspective or techniques or values that you have as a conservative therapist that you feel like the mainstream of the field is missing?
Pamela, that's such an interesting idea because I feel like from the progressive narrative is like they're the ones who were like sticking it to the man and challenging the system.
And it's like you just believe whatever the system tells you.
So I wanted to switch directions a little bit.
I feel like there's this common idea amongst progressives that therapy is always good.
Everyone needs a therapist.
Everyone can benefit from therapists.
And you have people on the right, I'm thinking of like Abigail Schreier's bad therapy, where she says a lot of therapy is more harmful on balance than it is beneficial.
