They are willing to embrace new information, and it changes their mind on things, and they can go down a different path.
Yeah, and you have new information come in, new evidence, and rather than burying your head in the sand to it, you embrace it and you have to adjust.
As a business owner, you have to do that constantly.
Being willing to embrace that mindset in your personal life is very difficult, because you are so emotionally attached
to the arguments and the things that are happening in your life.
There's something called the Solomon Paradox.
It's like King Solomon from the Bible, known for being the wisest man who ever lived, but very bad at taking his own advice.
Very good at giving advice, bad at taking his own.
And that idea has become this paradox that we are very good at giving advice to other people.
Like, if you come to me with your marriage problem, I'm able to give you this clear-headed, rational advice.
But when I have my own marriage problem, I can't take my own advice because you're so emotionally attached to that thing.
And so sometimes what helps in those situations when you find yourself, you know, like wanting to try to prove that you're right, wanting to try to, you know, push, push, push.

And
Look, I think across all relationships, the desire to try to win an argument, like no one wins an argument.
It's not a thing that happens.
What you're trying to do is reframe a situation from me versus you to us versus the problem.
In a relationship, if you are partnered with someone, it's not about you versus the other person.
It's whatever problem you're facing, let's reframe this to try to address what that problem is.
