Probably quite similarly to what we saw back in June, which is that, you know, we're not doing anything at the moment.
You know, we lifted rates.
Uh there's still a question mark as to whether the tightening that we did earlier in the year is gonna be enough.
to ensure that inflation returns to the target as forecast and and so
you know, while we try and answer that question, we're just gonna sit here and and watch the data.
But if inflation turns out to be more challenging than we think, then, you know, we'll be we'll be back with some more rate hikes.
And so I guess with the market pricing about fifteen, sixteen points of tightening by the end of the year.
Yeah, the RBA is probably pretty happy with that.
So I would imagine
Yeah, the ambition is for that not to be much different by the time all is said and done, uh, after the release of the statement on monetary policy and the press conference.

So I think uh, you know, relatively quiet start for the week.
Obviously later in the week we get inflation numbers in the US, uh, and they're obviously gonna be pretty important.
So I think that's where markets focus will lie this week.

It does feel like a little bit of deja vu this morning.
Um nonetheless, as you said, oil markets have reacted positively to this.
So they opened up uh, you know, yesterday in Asia uh sort of with oil in in the low eighties uh per barrel and have managed to hold that level overnight.
So for now, uh the market is is sort of happy to take the US President at his word, and uh I guess
