If we look at the futures curve, um so you know, in the the near dated contract uh I think got down to sort of almost eighty-six dollars a barrel at one point, but closed uh a little bit higher. matched

Um and the falls in those far dated contracts weren't as large, but we did see uh I think the November and December contracts. matched

um actually move below eighty dollars a barrel on on Friday night. matched

So the curve is is still very backward dated. matched

So, you know, very much um you know high prices today, lower prices tomorrow. matched

But you're right, I think matched

you know, if if we don't get a resolution because also remember that that ceasefire between the US and Iran actually expires on Wednesday of this week, the twenty second of of April. matched

So I think markets are basically assuming that that will at a minimum be extended. matched

Um, should it not be, then you know, that would clearly I think prompt some reasonably violent repricing of oil, not just uh in those near term contracts, but also further out the curve. matched

Yeah, well that would be a you know a meaningful reescalation um you know of the conflict. matched

And and I guess, you know, if we look at the price action so far this morning, uh, you know, well over the weekend, you know, Bitcoin trades over the weekend, that was down two and a half percent, so not a huge move for, you know, what is quite a volatile matched

uh asset. matched

Uh but even this morning just those you know, currencies like Aussie and Ki Kiwi are are lower, but not by a lot. matched

Uh you know, about sort of forty pips maybe here here or there, uh depending on on which one you're looking at. matched

So it does sort of suggest that you know we will have uh a slightly more risk averse tone as markets open up this morning, but so far the magnitudes of those moves have been reasonably moderate. matched

So equity markets I think are very much looking through all of this and basically saying that there will be a resolution. matched
