A slight sort of shift in in view from him, I guess acknowledging, you know, maybe that the US economy was actually looking a bit better coming into this meeting than perhaps it was at prior FOMC meetings. matched

But nonetheless, this was very much an expected outcome. matched

And, you know, as is usually the case, the statement just basically reflects recent development. matched

So the economy is described as expanding at a solid pace. matched

Um inflation remains somewhat elevated, and the labour market is really the one that's probably had the the bigger tweak where matched

And the Fed statement does acknowledge that job gains have been slow, um, but actually acknowledge that the unemployment rate had shown some signs of stabilizing. matched

And and actually later in the statement, they've removed uh the comment they had back in December, which you know sort of suggested they were still worried about downside risks to the labor market. matched

So all up. matched

I don't think there's gonna be a lot in this that uh is g is going to uh matched

uh prompt too much of a a market reaction. matched

Um of course we'll wait and see what gets said uh at the press conference, but so far so good in terms of what the Fed has delivered. matched

Yeah, that that's possible. matched

Uh I mean I guess definitely, you know, have sympathy with that view um, you know, in over the next sort of three to six months. matched

And then of course, you know, we know we will have a shift in leadership. matched

Um and it's possible that, you know, whoever that person might be does bring a more dovish bias to the committee. matched

But we'll have to wait and see um, you know, where where things go. matched

But for the time being, you know, the data has been, as you say, re matched

reasonably robust and and I think importantly matched

uh you know, when we look at fiscal policy and then also look at the settings of some regulatory policy, uh, you know, they are moving in a in a direction which is broadly supportive of of growth. matched
