But certainly, he's been absolutely scathing of America's traditional European allies, especially Keir Starmer and the UK, when it comes to what he views as a lack of support and not following him into battle.
on the 28th of February in the war with Iran and certainly not doing more to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz by force.
But I think it's important to mention that actually European allies did offer their bases for use for strikes against Iran.
And it's not clear that any European involvement would have made any difference here when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.
the US is the most powerful military in the world, and they haven't been able to fix that real headache that's been caused by this war.
I spoke to a shipping contact last night who said to me that the Strait of Hormuz remains so volatile.
I mean, we're talking somewhere between 25 and 40 vessels are getting through
on a daily basis at the moment, which is still way below what it was before the war.
And it's erratic.
It's not predictable.
You know, those attacks on vessels yesterday will destroy confidence once again for insurance companies and ship owners.
at trying to pass the Strait of Hormuz safely.
And this shipping contact said to me that no one in the industry believes that the Strait of Hormuz is ever going to return to the state it was in before the war.

And we've just heard word that it is cancelled following those strikes on Iran last night.
He's currently at the NATO summit with Donald Trump, but he will not be travelling to Israel.
And it is worth mentioning that he was due to go to Israel
in May, so not long ago, and that was cancelled as well.
So, I mean, we'll have to wait and see if we learn more on this, whether it's for security concerns or whether it's because they need to change the agenda for diplomatic reasons.
