So moving forward here, and with the fans and the support we get behind the fans and the players delivering results week in and week out, then that's our big bonus since I arrived here.
Obviously we go to Huddersfield next week, see if we can carry this run, it's won three, drawn two and lost one in the last six now,
and we've moved up the league one place again, so we're on the right track and moving in the right direction, and all fairness to the lads, how hard they worked and how they battled, and well done Theo Walcott, scoring another goal, three he's got now as well as his assists, and it's been the game-changing, the game-winner today, and obviously for us it's a great win.
Well, if we lose next week, they won't be there, will they?
It'll be the same again, you know what I mean?
So we'll all be rubbish if we lose next week, but if we win, we'll be OK, so let's keep winning, eh?
So then we don't get the criticism.
But, you know, as a manager, when does every fan like the manager?
keep doing what I'm doing because we keep winning and we keep getting better and better.
I'm working with a squad of players that I've inherited and all the staff behind the scenes are striving to make them better.
I think eighth in the league compared to
Fifth from bottom tells you we're getting them better.
We'd all like to get even better than we are.
We'd all demand that, and certainly Everton demands that the club finish higher and deliver more consistent results.
I accept all that.
Don't you think I want the same?
Yes, I do.
And if we all work together and all stick together, slowly but surely we'll get there.
What's wrong with our style today?
