And that last week, we managed to beat Chelsea on the Saturday at home.
We beat Everton at home on the Wednesday.
We stayed up and we drew with Watford in the last game.
It was a great finish to a brilliant short stay for me at Sunderland.
Great to be here, as always.
Gold on Sunday, guys.
Well, I mean, it was the same when we played at Swansea last week.
They'd won the last four at home.
And so I thought it was a very valuable point.
And we come here today and Newcastle won the last four.
Apart from the last ten minutes, in all fairness, we dominated the game.
For me, there was only going to be one winner, and what we didn't do was get the second goal.
They put us under a bit of pressure the last five minutes, but defended really well.
It's a well-deserved win, another very important three points at home again.
So moving forward here, and with the fans and the support we get behind the fans and the players delivering results week in and week out, then that's our big bonus since I arrived here.
Obviously we go to Huddersfield next week, see if we can carry this run, it's won three, drawn two and lost one in the last six now,
and we've moved up the league one place again, so we're on the right track and moving in the right direction, and all fairness to the lads, how hard they worked and how they battled, and well done Theo Walcott, scoring another goal, three he's got now as well as his assists, and it's been the game-changing, the game-winner today, and obviously for us it's a great win.
Well, if we lose next week, they won't be there, will they?
It'll be the same again, you know what I mean?
So we'll all be rubbish if we lose next week, but if we win, we'll be OK, so let's keep winning, eh?
