Sure.
Well the the first thing I want to say is that I don't want to give the impression that China has not been an interventionist power.
Very much has.
And and actually, China right from the start was was born of an expansionist revolutionary ideology.
It was grafted off the Soviet Union.
China Mao fermented revolution in various places.
They fought the Korean War and so on.
So
That that is part of the DNA of the party.
And under the cover of this this no intervention policy, there's there's been enormous amounts meant to be I mean, Burma, the support for the Russian war in Ukraine, et cetera, et cetera.
So I just to make that position clear.
In terms of the current moment.
I think m my view has been formed by studying
The party's documents, and particularly the the documents in the ecosystem, the Chinese security state.
And by that I mean the Ministry of State Security, as well as the think tank called KICA, which stands for the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, bit of a mouthful.
But that's actually a bureau of the Ministry of State Security and serves two roles really.
One is
To actually come up with analysis and assessments, and the other is to play a propaganda or um information operations role.
And I focus on those because Xi Jinping is very much a security first leader.
And he told us that in 2014 when he announced the overall national security concept.
