So my two older brothers were incredibly intelligent, didn't have to try hard.
They were just really clever.
And I wasn't clever.
And I was very sensitive.
And I would try and try and try to get noticed.
You know, so we all played football growing up.
And my two older brothers were probably better than me and gave up.
They were just like, I don't really want to do this anymore.
I was like, I'll keep going.
I'll go as far as I can.
And I'd injure myself.
And yes, so I think it was...
instilled in me from a young age because I had to have a thick skin to sort of keep up and again I think being working class like there's a certain amount of thick skin you have to you're used to rejection in many ways anyway and then I think I think the acting thing is just I don't know I've never known not to work hard and
You know, even when I was at drama school, I was basically a caretaker at the drama school because I couldn't afford to live in London.
So I was, you know, drama school like nine to nine.
And then all the holidays and weekends, I was at the drama school painting rooms or buffering the floors or sorting out the attic or whatever it was.
I just I've never known not to work.
So for me, the thing that I think I struggle with most about the industry is the not working and the kind of switching off.
Yeah, I can't relax.
