I don't agree with the CEO of Ford who's going out there and, you know, in many ways, you know, sometimes chastising the skill of American workers.
I think workers have skills.
I think we struggle with companies that don't recognize skill.
But I do think that there's a lot of jobs that are available today, really healthy jobs, 120 plus thousand dollar a year, blue collar skilled trade jobs that are available that companies say they're hiring for.
I'll put say in quotes.
But there are a lot of work available in those types of careers that AI is not going to hit so quickly.
So I think that the other point here is workers need to be willing to explore.
Try new things.
As you think about 2026 and 2027, don't maybe just think about the job you're in, but think about the job you're into.
Center that to make that your focus.
No, I think number one, we talked about how do workers have leverage.
So let's start from that place.
The economy doesn't work without the people that work in it, period.
So from that point, AI is here.
2024 was the year of AI coming onto the scene.
2025 was the year of what they call agentic AI, which is just a way of saying that you have AI now that are actual bots, actual customer service agents.
And a lot of that, those tasks, Don, they kind of came after white collar work, not necessarily blue collar work, which surprised a lot of people that were not expecting that.
With that being said, AI is a fundamental skill.
