So I guess that's gonna be one of the narrative challenges, right, around kind of the the decarbonisation and transition agenda.

love to kind of think about how that progresses over the next five, ten years, right?

Because obviously we're both in the energy sector.

We see the pressure on household bills from electricity, from gas and the price cap and things like that increasing, etc.

So that's the pressure, but what perhaps it's almost another sector that we need to bring into that conversation.

That's that's going to be a challenge, right?

To kind of talk about actually well actually we're thinking about not just heating and powering your home, we're also thinking about

your transport needs and bits and pieces.

Yeah, a hundred percent.

Sam, you mentioned something a minute ago just about in real terms what the bills will be in twenty thirty.

I was also just interested in your take in I think there's a part of the report that looks at the role of inflation and we know that bills in my head I was working in energy retail probably five, six, seven years ago and it was thinking that bills were around about a thousand pounds, eleven, twelve hundred

pounds the number in my head that is fixed.

Obviously at the moment we're at two thousand pounds or circa two thousand pounds.

And it's kind of like, well what's driven that increase?

And am I right to still think that it should be eleven or twelve hundred pounds and we're paying eight hundred pounds more than we should be.

I couldn't agree more.

I was quite staggered by that.

And as you say, that anchoring point of where people think your bills should be.

And I guess the easy thing to say is well, actually it's been renewables, or it's been investment, or it's been I mean, a lot of people are always staggered by how much profit is in energy retail, right?

But how little that is profit within energy retail.
