So I'm going to suffer now and do whatever I can and do the next thing.
Now that evolves over time, right, and help folks give them strength for their day-to-day lives, but at the same time not addressing the trauma, right, because both can be done.
I think that's probably one of the greater things over the 17 years is how much
The community, the different parts of the religious community has come along, you know, and talking about trauma more.
It could be still a little bit better.
But the issue is, is once clients figure out what trauma is, think about it.
If you've been surrounded by trauma historically, right, you don't even know you're traumatized.
Because you just work it through, right?
It's normal as best it can be, but again, you know, if you're surrounded by death or crime or whatever, you find a way to live with that because that's what we do.
And so the pushback again was
Why are you talking about trauma?
Because, you know, and so it was a lot of pushback.
Now we talk, you hear everybody talking about trauma, but the problem sometimes is they want to say the word trauma, and then they want to have a quick fix.
And there is no quick fix to dealing with trauma.
Okay, so again, the name of the conference came out of that first conference.
