What people didn't realize, it was never about just that.

The reason I say that is if, say, for example, you got three kids and people keep complaining about one kid as the problem kid, and unfortunately it ends up being that way, right?
Why would you start with the nice kid and not the problem kid to try to work things out?

said that they, you know, talking about what they weren't doing and, you know, you would get certain people that, you know, that would focus so much on what Black men negatively did, which benefits systems in the bigger picture, but that's a whole other conversation.
It was all inclusive, but the issue is we started with the men and it was really about how do we empower the communities
And over the years, probably, there was probably more women who attended when they were, they didn't know if they could come.
But the thing is, there was more women who came.
And we have a fairly good population of folks who are not African Americans who come because of the way we put it together.
And in which is, which is a good thing.
is that who does most of the work in the medical system, in the therapy system?
We can go about why that is and the history behind that.
So when I first said the conference, one Black woman came up to me, oh, you're going to focus on Black men.
Black men, they be causing so much problems.
