wondered about the later pages in my book, some kind of Republican establishment types were offended that he didn't say more about how Bill Buckley got involved on the side of the neocons when there were fights about Pat Buchanan.
But the reason I didn't make more of that was Buckley supported Buchanan when he challenged George Bush.
And George Bush was one of Buckley's friends.
They belonged to all the same clubs at Yale and then out in the Bohemian Grove in California.
But Buckley thought Buchanan was making a point.
So I saw him.
I was at his house.
My wife and I were there.
