It's game day in Texas on the state Senate seats. Ma'am, Texas 9, where do folks go to vote? All that counts today is the 26,000 registered Republicans get out and vote today. Where do they go?
That's right. There are so many polling places. You can go to tarrantcounty.com slash elections to find those polling places. You can also go to leefortexas.com and click the voting info to find those polling locations. Polls are open today 7 to 7, and that's right. We had polls shut down because of multiple sheets of ice across North Texas, and we have over 26,000 Republicans voting. that did not get out to vote yet. These are Republicans that always do vote. And a lot of that was mobility. You know, even when the highways were clear, a lot of neighborhoods were still solid sheets of ice. So we cannot let the weather or the Democrats take this seat. This will be the first step to turn Texas blue. Beto O'Rourke has said this is his pilot program for turning Texas blue in November.
And Texans, I got to tell you, it's not going to get any easier. We have to fight and we have to keep fighting harder. to keep the sanity and freedom in our state, and that is keeping it red.
This has been, you've been, they've poured millions of dollars of dark money, out-of-state money into this race because they understand how important Texas is as the jewel in the crown. This is a real dogfight right now. I mean, we need every person in the War Room posse, and particularly all the fans of War Room Texas, up in Tarrant County have got to, let's not turn themselves out, but they got to turn out everybody that's eligible to vote. Am I correct? Because the Democrats have a tendency to turn out eligible to vote and all others, right?
How are Texans preparing for the upcoming elections?
They play hardball. So this is a dogfight right now, Lee.
It is a dogfight and we've had several situations where our registered voters have been told they're not in the district, turned away, and we only caught it because we were doing our get out the vote for people who hadn't voted yet. And they said, well, I was told I wasn't in the district. And so they came to me, I pulled it up and I said, you are registered in the district. Long story short, we've one person at a time gotten them proven that they are registered to vote. So we're chasing that down. We have people at the polls in the cold. We have people in their homes calling hundreds of people. We had a get out the vote effort last night where citizens came together and we personally called over 6,000 voters.
So we are working very hard. It is a dogfight. As you said, a lot of dark money is thrown against us. The Democrats always like to say, oh, you know, I don't have any money in here. The elitist millionaires. Well, let me tell you, that's that's just nothing could be further from the truth. We have traced as public information. You go to Texas Ethics Commission, Federal Elections Commission. You can see that George Soros has given over seven million dollars to this Texas majority PAC who works with the Texas Democrat Party. And they funded over two thirds of my candidates funding. The other part is from the Beto organization powered by people. That's the organization that AG Paxton sued for allegedly misappropriating funds when they were trying to pay off the Democrats for abandoning their posts during the, the redistricting effort in our state house.
