when you're in it that you're dying or perhaps you're going crazy.
Especially when you've never heard of what a panic attack is before and I don't think anyone can really know what it is until you've actually experienced it.
Because I've had it for years and years and years and then my sister experienced it one day and she said to me, Oh my goodness, so this is what you've been experiencing like
It blew her mind just how full on a panic attack is.
And it I mean you can go into so many
other things that are happening.
Um, but yeah, I think that the hardest thing for me is every time it sort of hit, it felt like I wasn't really in my body.
I was having like an out of body experience.
So
It's very scary for someone at the age of ten.
This was happening
Up to twenty times a day for years.
And back then, I mean I'm in my forties now, but back then it wasn't really common in children like it is today.
And so a lot of doctors didn't know what was wrong with me.
I was labelled a hypochondriac and, you know, that I was exaggerating all these things going on in my body.
Um, until I found a book that sort of explained it in cartoon form for me to be able to understand that I'm normal and I'm not dying and it's just something that my body's doing.
Um, it's it's yeah.
Quite quite scary if your listeners have experienced it.
I'm sure they can relate to some of the things I shared.
And I think also being a young kid at school.
