It was also the fact that people were staring at me and watching this and I mean when you're at school it's all about making sure you, you know, you fit into a tribe and all of a sudden you you stick out like a sore thumb.
You're the crazy kid at school who's, you know, unable to control her body.
And so yeah, that sort of heightens the anxiety and the panic even more knowing that people's eyes are on you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
My mum was a huge help.
So she was a single mum raising me.
And little did I know, at the time she was actually going through her own issues with finances, divorce, all that.
Um so she was actually experiencing panic attacks too, but I never knew that.
And so on her journey to figure out what was going on with her, um, she came across a psychologist who shared a book by uh B Bev Asbet, she's an Australian author.
uh and she created books particularly for young children to understand what was going on inside their body.
And that was sort of where I'm gonna say six months into it we came across this book
My mum handed it to me and said, read this.
And I was like, oh my gosh, I feel seen.
I feel heard.
And it was the best.
Oh I got goosebumps.
It was the best feeling ever because you feel so alone when you are in the thick of it that like even though my mum was being supportive where she could, I still felt alone.
Like she wasn't able to get me out of this panic.
And so reading that it was just
