So yeah, I would say that the best reward are are the the emails and letters we get.

There was one couple in the Netherlands who contacted us um and said, We're having a baby and it's a boy and we're gonna name his middle name is gonna be Scout.

Okay, I'll go first.

So I'm Sandy Nann.

Um I'm currently sixty seven years old.

I started backpacking when I was fairly young.

I guess I was sixteen.

My brothers were in Boy Scouts and they got to go backpacking and I was really jealous.

So I looked for opportunities.

Um and w I met Scout when I was seventeen.

Actually I think I started when I was fifteen.

And I met Scout and and I like to say that if he hadn't been a backpacker at the time I probably wouldn't have given him the time a day.

I feel you on that too.

moved to Sant well we lived in Eugene

Uh well Barney was going to law school and I was an undergraduate because he's a little older than I.

Um we moved to San Diego for me to go to grad school.

I have my phd in molecular biology.
