I withdraw my motion to form a subcommittee based on advice from the attorney, and we may go to future agenda items where I can re-propose the item.

And so the item that was proposed in seconded remains, or do we need to restate the future agenda item one more time?

Just to be clear, Commissioner, let's just restate it.

I move or I propose a future agenda item to have a study session with a selection of applicants that may allow for an understanding of their pain points in the presence of commissioners and to learn from the study session any further improvements we may make.

Can staff comment on which roads and how many will have street parking taken away if this is adopted?

And how would we know and when would we know what the full impact of those are?

And would we be getting grant funding if that 30% design stage council recommendation was to not proceed further?

Would that be a cost borne by the general fund and by the city, or would that be something that is grant subsidized?

And the process you just described has

our city ever used that and been successful to offset the cost of a 30% design to only to decide that we will not proceed further and yet be offset by grant funds?

And are we aware of any other cities that has used grant funding for 30% design level studies before the city chooses to actually proceed or not?

Could staff comment on what is an approximate cost to the city if we should have to pay for a 30% design in order to determine if we proceed further or not?
