I love it.
The Michael J. Fox Institute has raised over $2 billion, $2 billion for Parkinson's research.
And it's not like that money would have gone there anyway.
I've been in that room with him for maybe 10 of the last 25 years he's done it.
And people will tell me they're giving this money because of Mike and because they trust what Mike and the Institute, the foundation, are doing with the money.
So as tragic as it is and challenging for anybody like Mike who gets it,
He has done something with it that has changed other people's lives.
So in a way, yeah, it's one of those really awful gift of the Magi kind of moments where the gift helps nobody.
However, the sentiment matters, except in this case, so many people have benefited from this.
And Mike is, yeah, Mike and Tracy, Mike and Tracy together and the whole foundation, it's out of this world.
At that time, to be a movie star, a TV star, and a movie star, and then a TV star again?
No, it's not.
I think obviously everybody has some nuances that are unique to them.
But generally speaking, to reach a certain level, you have to decide at some point in your life whether or not you're going to be swayed by outside opinion.
And if you have decided that you're not, you have a better shot.
We laugh sometimes, people will call it, you say you have to have a little bit of delusion to pull this off.
I jokingly say that about me too.
You have to have a little bit of delusion, but it's actually not delusion.
It's not just that they don't want this to happen.
They also don't want this to happen for you.
