I know what I can do.

And I know the standard that I hold myself to professionally, but I placed no value in this career.

I don't feel

accomplished or better about life because I've had success in this industry.

I've had success in this industry for lots of reasons, partly hard work, but mostly the grace of others.

And I'm relentless.

And I think relentless is a big part of this, but I place no value on it.

There's no statement on my humanity because I did well in this industry.

I don't care about it.

So I think when you approach it that way,

You have a much easier path in life.

I just care about the craft.

So I'm really hard on making sure that it's great.

But just for that reason, not because it's any greater statement about how I see myself or feel about myself.

I think the greatest gift my mother ever gave me of the many in my whole family is you are not valued because of what you do for a living.

They don't care at all.

And this to me is the, what a release when you're a young person and the only thing that they put pressure on you to do or be is how you act.

People, how are you?

Are you a good person?

And a good person is not, I'm a good person.
