So there were even more attacks this morning.

The New York Times says that mediators are looking to prevent a full-blown war in the Middle East.

It was only a week ago that Trump declared that the U.S.

was charging tolls in the Strait of Hormuz, that we were in charge.

But of course, he later backed off the tolls.

But like,

things are getting blown up right now.

Like there was news this morning of some people came across some of the Iranian mines that were planted.

Tell me just what has been going through your head this weekend, because you wrote this morning in Morning Shots, nothing about the last nine days of war has anything to do with Iran's ability or inability to get a nuclear weapon.

CENTCOM, on the other hand, said last night that the latest wave of U.S.

strikes was intended to further diminish Iran's ability to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

But there is no reason to think even more bombing will prevent Iran from making the Strait impassable.

So Trump's war is now a pointless war.
