Like he had been on a trajectory of dropping and then it kind of, now it's just gone from like 39% to 40%, which is obviously still not a good approval rating.

I think that the Iran war kind of being off again, on again, Americans not really being sure.

And then Trump doing a big 250.

I'm going to announce that the war is over.

I actually do think it takes Americans a while to realize, oh, no, it's not over.

Oh, we're still in it.

But I do think the gas price is jumping back up to four bucks here for the last stretch of summer going into it.

People are going to notice that again.

That's right.

And obviously, summers are sort of like this, where people aren't always processing in real time what's happening because people are checked out, right?

Lots of people are off doing other things.

They're not focused on the headlines.

But people notice gas prices when they're traveling.

And when the price of everything jumps up, that is when you see people bail.

I know people don't like this, that it's sort of like you can't get people to be really mad about...

the slush fund or Blanche or whatever.

But like the only thing that matters to them is the cost of gas.

But it is true.

And Trump is doing a wild thing here going into the midterms, choosing to continue this war.
