So, yes, I'd always wanted to be an actress.
Didn't really know how to go about it living in Texas.
You know, it's like roller skating on the moon sounded more likely than landing a yogurt commercial.
Like, yeah, when you were a kid, I was a child, you know.
I was either going to be an actress or like a neurosurgeon.
It was like one or the other.
Very closely related fields.
And so I, but I was also in musical theater and I just felt this thing, like being on stage felt so calming to me and like it served my nervous system so well.
I felt like I was free falling.
I was just always so comfortable up there.
And then I
I was at Southern Methodist University and I was in a musical production of Soap Dish.
And one of the background dancers, like I think I was talking about being an actress or something.
One of the background dancers was like, oh, why don't you try out for the Dallas Cubber Cheerleaders?
Because back in 1995, they were on SNL.
And I was like, oh, that's it.
That's my way in.
I'll try out.
So I drove to Texas Stadium one day.
