Thank you for having me.

As you and I speaking, it's not too long since your last triumphant moment, which was uh performing at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Of course, we're going to talk about Eurovision.

Since we last spoke, Delta, you've also gotten married, you've announced a new album and a world tour, and you've just shot.

your ninth stellar cover.

So obviously my first question is, what are what are you doing with all your spare time, Delta?

It's a glamorous life, isn't it?

I tell you what, yeah, people only planes,

You making it to the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

I gotta tell you, back home here in Australia, you know, it really did feel like the World Cup, where people were getting up early in the morning or in some cases staying up all night.

What is it like for you to be on the receiving end of, yes, of course, that outpouring of love and support, but also the pressure and the expectations?

expectation that it brings with it.

Delta, when you have something like a grand final and you're hearing from everyone from your own family all the way through to you know people that uh you'll never have met before all over the world, obviously in Australia, but there was also huge discovery and rediscovery of you from people uh globally as well.

Do you sleep the night before?

And if so, how on earth?

Do you manage that?

This is one of the many fascinating things about Eurovision is the fact that you make it to the grand final, you do have to replicate the performance.
