You know, I'm the first Christian in my family.
There's no Christians at all in my family.
We have no lineage or heritage of Christianity.
You know, my family members, some of them have been in prison.
My dad was a career criminal for many years.
So this is kind of the heritage that I had, you know what I mean?
So this is kind of where it came from, right?
No, no.
And he's kind of like, you know, my dad's just a bit of a geezer, right?
He was just out doing what he's doing.
You know, he's just trying to get by, right?
But for me, it was, you know, so that was my environment.
So alcohol was a big part of my life growing up, going to mass with the family.
And then everyone goes to the pub and gets drunk as a kid, right?
That's what I saw.
So my introduction to Christianity was hypocrisy.
It looked like, let's all go look to mass, look at our watch and be bored and then go and get drunk, right?
So that was my only awareness as a kid, really.
So for me, alcoholism was always an issue.
And then from a young age, I started drinking and that led to cocaine.
