And at that point he was buying net net companies, won't get into the boring detail, but effectively there was a whole lot of companies out there who were just so badly inefficiently priced, it was shooting fish in a barrel.
Then you have people who learn about that.
Then you have printed stock market records.
Then you have computerization.
Now we have AI.
The further that goes, the gap between what's knowable and known gets smaller and smaller.
And so there's going to be fewer opportunities or the opportunities do you do find aren't going to have as much of a gap between knowable and known.
And so that I think makes it harder to outperform overall.
Or maybe if it's not harder, the upside maybe will be smaller.
But
you will always have mispricings because humans and even machines don't know the future.
And so the ability to pattern recognition we're back to to understand where there might be value, I think, is always going to be there.
It'll be harder because I think machines will increasingly close that gap.
So that's harder.
And I think it'll be less popular because the ability to simply take all the things and Rasker's done a wonderful job of this, all the ways you can choose to invest that don't require stockpicking have been

This starts pushes this small snowball down the hill.
And it rolls and rolls and rolls to where we are now, which is you can do very, very, very well as an investor, never picking a single stock.
And so that and which is brilliant.
