Hey, thanks for having me once again.
It's always great to join you guys.
Yeah, it certainly has been.
I think they already had uh three main storms so far for the season.
I might have lost track with with an extra uh name storm there.
Uh but it's just been so active there and uh really counterbalancing the the quietness over the Atlantic.
A very strong El Nino pattern that Justin just mentioned with the extremely warm water temperatures.
The Equatorial Pacific right now is running almost three degrees above normal, uh, right in their main development region there.
Right now they have uh four systems that are highlighted for potential development.
And they're looking at a well above normal season already.
And because of how warm the conditions happen and how favorite.
The upper level winds are over the Pacific.
They're gonna be looking at the possibility of 20 plus name storms this season.
So very active.
And for us in the Atlantic side of things, because of how strong the El Nino pattern is and uh with the upper level winds over the Atlantic and the cooler than normal ocean water temperatures, Colorado State uh just the other day released an update on their uh forecast for the season, lowering their forecasts even further.
So I think overall as far as activity, we're gonna be in good shape in the Atlantic, but totally a different scenario for uh the Pacific with those um with a very good chance of uh within the next uh five to seven days having multiple uh organized tropical systems.
Yeah, absolutely.
And and as far as that, you know, that could help out their situation and as the season goes on with more moisture going into the southwestern US.
Uh certainly they've been experiencing uh significant droughts on and off over the past few years.
So uh hopefully we don't have anything in the way of a major system going in that direction like what we saw.
