So 7 billion people are living in some state of energy poverty today, from nothing to not reliable and not affordable to them.

7 billion people.

So when the IEA put out their net zero report five years ago this summer, and it was a roadmap for global energy, and it led to Glasgow, the COP in Glasgow, I think it was COP26, a roadmap.

I put out a piece that right then that said, the road to Glasgow is paved with bad assumptions.

You know, it was, I think it ran in the hill or something in the US.

They made a huge number of bad assumptions in that.

But the biggest one, the most egregious, the most disingenuous actually, because Fatih Birol, who runs the IEA, is a smart economist.

And he knew, he knows.

The most egregious of that report was that global energy consumption would decrease.

This was 2021.

Global energy consumption would go down.

In what world?

It's way off already.

And then within that, they took coal oil and gas down to nothing and grew biofuels and bioenergies and solar wind to these wild numbers by 2050.

None of it is happening.

Now you're asking me to understand human nature.

I tend to deal with data and facts to the best I can.

There are a lot of opinions about that, but there were a tremendous amount of pressure at that time, if you go back to that time, to push for climate, climate change.

We have to, we have to, we have to.

And the IEA is paid by several countries, mostly Europe and the US.
