You're staying in California, but it's hard, man, and it doesn't have to be that way.
It could be an amazing place that is a home for new investment and innovation and growth, which it used to be that way.
But again, when the crazies take over, these are the stupid policies that you get because government always knows better than you for your family or for your business or for your work, for the car you can buy, the kind of energy that you can use.
Government and liberals always think they know better than the individual.
Yeah, so first off, the rules that we're using here are rules that date back decades.
So these are not new DOT rules.
They've been on the books for a long time.
They just weren't effectively being enforced.
So you have to be proficient in the English language to be a commercial driver.
No one was really enforcing that law.
We said, no, we're gonna enforce this.
It's a safety issue on American roadways.
Every state has been willing to, at some level, comply with saying, okay, if there's not a proficiency, we'll take those drivers out.
All but one state.
California and Gavin Newsom said, you know what?
No, we're okay with drivers not being able to speak the language.
So you think there's a crash, first responders come, you need to know what the big rig is carrying, right?
What does the 18-wheeler have on board?
so you can have an effective response.
Or if law enforcement needs to talk in a car crash with a driver, they got to speak English.
