His event is you walk into a room and it's like a hundred of the most amazing people, you know, you've ever met.
For me, it's SoundCloud, and I use it not just for music.
I love it for music, but being a DJ and all.
But I love it for sending personalized voice messages.
So when I make a connection between two brothers, instead of typing it out, I'll be like, Nathan, Jason Gaynard, Sean Gallagher here.
And what's funny is I actually learned this from Jason Gaynard.
He's the first person I saw doing it, so I can't take credit for it.
but I'll actually send personal introductions or important voice messages via SoundCloud, little SoundCloud files, because there's an option to make them private, so you can give the guy a private link, only he can see it.
It's a lot more personable, and it just takes two minutes, because SoundCloud just lets you hit the record button, and then boom, done.
Oh, that's a good question, man.
This is something we all wrestle with.
I do.
I do.
I need my sleep.
If I don't get less than, if I don't get more than seven, you know, I really struggle.
I can't function on five or six.
Nine is my, nine is my sweet spot that I aim for.
Oh, geez, man, there's so many lessons I wish I'd learned back then.
It's crazy, but I think the biggest one would be to fully understand my strengths and my weaknesses and to accept both.
And what I mean by that, it sounds kind of cliche, but what I mean by that is for a long time, I tried to do tech businesses and I tried to do even the DJ businesses, which worked out pretty well.
